How trials and paid plans work
Cookiezy may offer a 14-day trial, recurring paid plans, and manual access grants such as complimentary, donation, or partner access.
- • Trials are currently intended to last 14 days and may also be limited by domains, features, or support scope.
- • Recurring plans may renew monthly or yearly unless canceled before the next billing date.
- • Manual access grants may be used for partnerships, charity projects, pilots, or approved exceptions without standard payment flow.
- • If a trial expires or paid billing is not active, Cookiezy may keep only the necessary-only compliance layer available while optional runtime functionality remains disabled until the account is restored.
Invoices, VAT, and electronic delivery
Invoices and credit notes for Cookiezy are intended to be delivered electronically and stored in the customer and ops workflow.
- • Invoices may be issued by Paradigma Plus d.o.o. on behalf of the Cookiezy service.
- • Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and VAT information where required.
- • Starter and Growth prices are currently marketed as net prices. For domestic billing in Slovenia, 22% VAT is charged on top of the advertised net price.
- • EU reverse-charge treatment is intended only where a valid VAT ID is provided and successfully validated. If a valid reverse-charge setup is not available, EU billing may fall back to Slovenian VAT.
- • Customers may be asked to complete or update billing details after purchase so invoices, tax clauses, and delivery records can be finalized correctly.
When refunds or credits may be issued
Cookiezy may issue refunds, credits, or goodwill adjustments where appropriate, but each case depends on the commercial context, the active service period, and the payment provider flow.
- • Monthly refunds are limited to the current billed month. Cookiezy does not intend to refund more than the currently active monthly billing period.
- • Yearly refunds may be prorated based on the unused remainder of the active yearly billing period.
- • Refunds may be processed in full or in part through the active payment provider where technically possible.
- • Issued refunds may be documented through a credit note or similar accounting record.
- • After a refund is processed, Cookiezy may immediately remove paid entitlement, mark the account as restricted, and keep only the necessary-only compliance layer active until a new paid plan or another entitlement is applied.
- • Complimentary, donation, partner, or manually granted access is generally not tied to a monetary refund unless expressly agreed.
What happens when payment fails
Cookiezy may change account and entitlement state when a subscription becomes overdue or inactive.
- • If payment fails, the account may move into past-due or restricted state until the billing issue is resolved.
- • Downloads, customer docs, or premium runtime functionality may be limited while the account is overdue.
- • Restricted mode may leave the adapter running only with necessary consent behavior while analytics, marketing, premium runtime features, and other optional functionality stay blocked.
- • Cookiezy may also apply a manual access grant where a payment exception is approved.
