Service relationship

Who may use Cookiezy

Cookiezy is intended for business, professional, organizational, or project use by customers who are authorized to enter into a binding agreement and use the service on behalf of themselves or their organization.

  • The person creating or using a Cookiezy workspace represents that they have authority to act for the relevant customer or organization.
  • Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate account, billing, and contact information.
  • Customers are responsible for controlling access to their team, account credentials, and downloaded adapter packages.

Plans and billing

Trials, subscriptions, and manual access

Cookiezy may provide a 14-day trial, paid subscription plans, and in some cases manually granted access such as complimentary, donation, or partner access.

  • Trial access is currently intended to last 14 days and may also be limited by domains, features, support scope, or other commercial restrictions.
  • Paid plans may renew on a recurring basis unless canceled in accordance with the applicable billing workflow.
  • Manual access grants may be offered at Cookiezy's discretion and may be limited by product, duration, domain count, or support scope.
  • Active paid plans and other approved active entitlements may include access to product updates released for the covered package.
  • Cookiezy may send product update communications to users associated with the relevant account when relevant product updates are released.
  • Cookiezy may change plan packaging, pricing, product scope, or feature availability prospectively, subject to applicable law and any active commercial commitments.

Adapter downloads and licensing

License scope and domain restrictions

Cookiezy distributes adapter packages and related customer documentation under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the customer's internal use in accordance with the selected or granted plan.

  • Customers may use downloaded adapters only for the number of domains, workspaces, or deployments allowed under the applicable plan or manual grant.
  • Customers must register permitted hostnames where required so Cookiezy can verify whether the adapter may run in full mode.
  • Cookiezy may place adapters into restricted mode when a trial expires, a subscription becomes inactive, a hostname is not authorized, a domain cap has been exceeded, or required license configuration is missing.
  • In restricted mode, Cookiezy may continue to provide only the necessary-only compliance layer while analytics, marketing, premium runtime functionality, or other optional features remain disabled until the account returns to good standing.
  • Customers must not bypass, disable, or attempt to interfere with site-key verification, entitlement checks, or domain enforcement controls.

Commercial terms

Fees, invoices, taxes, and refunds

Paid plans may be subject to invoices, credit notes, taxes, recurring charges, saved payment methods, and refund handling according to the commercial flow configured by Cookiezy.

  • Customers are responsible for paying all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with the selected plan unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Invoices and credit notes may be generated and delivered electronically by Paradigma Plus d.o.o. on behalf of the Cookiezy service.
  • Advertised Starter and Growth prices are net prices. Slovenian domestic billing is charged with 22% VAT on top. EU reverse-charge treatment is intended only where a valid VAT ID is provided and successfully validated. Other EU billing cases may default to Slovenian VAT on top of the advertised net price.
  • Monthly refunds are limited to the current billed month. Yearly refunds may be prorated based on the unused remainder of the active yearly billing period. Refunds, credits, or goodwill adjustments remain subject to legal requirements, accounting constraints, and payment-provider capabilities.
  • When a refund is issued, Cookiezy may generate a credit note and may immediately remove paid access, restrict premium runtime functionality, and return the account to restricted mode from the refund date onward.
  • Complimentary, donation, partner, or manually granted access does not create a continuing obligation for Cookiezy to provide the same access indefinitely.

Liability and termination

Disclaimers, liability limits, and ending the service

This section describes the commercial and operational structure of the Cookiezy service and how access may be limited, suspended, or ended.

  • Except where prohibited by law, the service is provided on an 'as available' basis and without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every regulatory or technical scenario.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating adapter behavior, consent setup, and legal configuration before production use.
  • Cookiezy may suspend or terminate access where an account is overdue, abused, compromised, used outside scope, or otherwise in material breach of the agreement, including by limiting premium functionality to a necessary-only restricted mode before full service access is restored.
  • Limitation-of-liability, indemnity, governing-law, and dispute-resolution terms apply as set out in these Terms of Service and any applicable mandatory law.

Common questions

Legal and service questions

Short answers to the legal and operational questions customers most often need while reviewing the terms.

How far does the adapter license extend?

Use must remain within the domain, workspace, deployment, and entitlement limits linked to the relevant plan or manual access grant.

What happens when billing becomes overdue?

Downloads, customer documentation, or premium runtime functionality may be restricted until the account returns to good standing or another approved entitlement is applied.

What happens after a refund is issued?

A refund may be followed by a credit note, removal of paid entitlement, and an immediate return to restricted mode until a new paid plan or another approved entitlement is applied.

How does VAT work for Cookiezy plans?

Cookiezy plan prices are generally treated as net prices. Slovenian domestic billing is charged with 22% VAT on top. EU reverse charge is intended only where a valid VAT ID is provided and successfully validated. Other EU billing cases may default to Slovenian VAT.
